Shipping

99% of orders are shipped within 48 hours.  We ship by USPS Priority Mail, USPS Parcel Post or by UPS depending on the ship-to address you provide, our warehouse location ( Santa Ana, California), and the weight of your order.  If the weight is under two pounds, we will usually ship USPS Parcel Post or Priority Mail. Orders over two pounds generally are shipped UPS. For UPS, there are several options available:  UPS Ground for standard orders within the contiguous US, UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Three Day Select. When ordering online, you will have a chance to review your shipping charges BEFORE you complete your order.  Special Shipping Arrangements are also available.  Call or e-mail us to make special arrangements regarding shipping or delivering your order.

Alaska and Hawaii Residents
Because UPS Ground does not ship to Alaska regular ground, and UPS 2nd Day Air is really expensive, we will ship via the US Postal Service Priority Mail for our friends in Alaska and Hawaii.  Please select Other as your shipping method when ordering.

International Orders
For international orders we will generally use the US Postal Service Global Priority. We will inform you of the shipping charge estimate for your approval before completing the order.  US Postal Service is often about one half to one third of the UPS or FedEx options. Please select International - Other as your shipping method when ordering.

If you would like to estimate shipping yourself, an International rate calculator is located at http://ircalc.usps.gov/ and it assumes you are shipping from the US.  Select "A Package (No correspondence enclosed)" as the type of item you want to mail.  Then, just enter your country and the weight and it will give you the prices based on how fast you need it.

UPS Ground shipping is based on UPS Ground delivery within the contiguous states. Please note: UPS can not deliver to P.O. boxes. Sorry, we do not ship C.O.D.

Backorders
We usually ship all orders complete. However there may be situations where we cannot fill the order in a reasonable time frame. If this is the case we will contact you and get your permission to ship partial or to hold the order.


Privacy Policy

We appreciate your business and respect your right to privacy. Any personal information collected from our customers is for our in-house use only. We will not sell or rent any of your personal information to any other business.

Basic Confidentiality Policy:
Personal information, such as your name, postal and e-mail address or telephone number, is private and confidential. Any personal information you provide is stored in a secure location, is accessible only by our staff, and is used only for the purposes for which you provide the information (such as to ship your order or sign up for our free newsletter).

If you sign up for our newsletter, only your name and e-mail address will be added to our mailing list.  If at any time you change your mind and would like to add or remove your name from the mailing list, please email us at jim@jukeboxquilts.com

No Release of Information to Third Parties
Personal information will not be released to third parties except if release is required by law or is pertinent to judicial or governmental investigations or proceedings. There are no other circumstances under which we will provide or sell personal information to third parties.

Identifiable Information Tracking
Our computer is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information about its visitors. It does recognize the home server of visitors, but not e-mail addresses. For example, we can tell which Internet Service Provider our visitors use (like how many use AOL), but not the names, addresses or other information about our visitors that would allow us to identify the particular visitors to our sites. This information is used only for internal purposes by JukeboxQuilts.

In addition, our server does track information about the activity of visitors to our web site. For example, we compile statistics that show the daily number of visitors to our sites, the daily requests we receive for particular files on our web sites, and what countries those requests come from. These stats are used internally to better provide services to the public.  The statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.


Security Policy

Security is of critical importance to us and we know it is to our customers!  We are NOT part of any large shopping cart service.  We have our own domain, server space, and shopping cart.

SSL is only the beginning...

  • SSL only protects the transmission of your sensitive information to and from the web server if you are using a browser that supports SSL (All modern browsers do).
  • Access to files on web servers is password protected as standard procedure.
  • Any e-mails that are sent from the server to us to notify us of orders is also encrypted and can not be viewed by anyone but the person processing your order.
  • All transaction related data is also encrypted when stored on our local office computers.  So, if somebody broke into my office and stole the computer off my desk and tried to get your credit card numbers from the ordering system, it would be encrypted and would still be protected.  Card numbers are not stored any longer than it takes to process your order.  We do not keep them on file except in a few cases when requested by a customer.

Why use so much protection?  A better question would be WHY NOT?  If the technology exists to make transactions on the web and data storage as secure as possible, why not utilize it?  We are committed to keeping your data as secure as possible and will continue to update/upgrade our security measures as needed to provide the best protection possible.  EXPECT NOTHING LESS!


Returns

We know that one disadvantage to purchasing items on the web is the lack of a way to return them easily if necessary. 

You may return any unused product in its original condition to us within 30 days.  The original shipping fees are not refundable, unless, of course, you are returning merchandise we shipped in error.

4 Simple Steps for Returning Items
US Only

  • Package up the return. (The original shipping box can be used as long as you remove the old label.) 
  • Either call 866.676.9942  or e-mail us and let us know the specific item(s) you are returning so we can estimate weight.
  • We will send you a prepaid UPS shipping label to put on the package.
  • Put the tag on the package and drop it off at ANY UPS authorized shipper.

That's it!  Your refund will be issued to the same credit card the purchase was originally made on when we receive the package.  If you sent in a check, we will issue your refund via a check.


Damaged Goods

We will handle the problem to your satisfaction! If the carton looks damaged upon receipt from UPS, please inspect the contents before the driver leaves or call UPS at 1-800-PICKUPS to file a claim. If your claim does not involve UPS, please give us a call at 866.676.9942 or email to info@jukeboxquilts.com and we will work with you to take care of the situation via a replacement or refund.
